Partial Hospitalization

The Partial Hospitalization Program at ICC is designed to bridge the gap between an inpatient program and an outpatient program.  The goal of the program is to reduce substance abuse and mental health symptoms to prevent the need for inpatient hospitalization.  The partial hospitalization program allows the participant the opportunity to continue with work or school, and family obligations while receiving the necessary help they need.

The Partial Hospitalization Program operates five days-a-week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am – 2:00pm or evenings from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm.  The program was created to:

  • Provide 20 hours of intensive treatment for adults per week
  • Address moderately intense mental health and substance abuse problems
  • Help clients develop skills necessary to continue to progress in outpatient treatment setting

Clients in this program attend the following therapeutic activities during the day: • Meditation and relaxation classes • Motivational Enhancement • Group Therapy • Individual Counseling • Life skills workshops • Video and lectures specific to substance abuse • Motivational interviewing • Relapse prevention workshops • Gender group counseling

ICC also works with the family to help them gain knowledge about their loved ones addiction and its impact on the family system.  The Partial Hospitalization Program staff is trained to assist those with co-occurring disorders.

Intensive Outpatient

In today’s society, most individuals can’t afford to miss time from work or school to enter a residential treatment program.  At ICC, we offer an intensive treatment program on an outpatient basis to meet the needs of these individuals.

Admission to this program allows the client to live at home and continue with work or school.  We offer day and evening programs.   The IOP Program at ICC provides the client with a minimum of 9 hours of intensive therapy per week.  Our treatment program is flexible offering three IOP groups per day.  Clients attend three sessions per week at 3 hours per session.  The following group times are available:

Mornings        10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Afternoons      1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Evenings          5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

During the IOP program clients participate in the following:

• Meditation and relaxation classes • Motivational Enhancement • Group Therapy • Individual Counseling • Life skills workshops • Video and lectures specific to substance abuse • Motivational interviewing • Relapse prevention workshops • Gender group counseling

ICC also works with the family to help them gain knowledge about their loved ones addiction and its impact on the family system.  The IOP staff is trained to assist those with co-occurring disorders.

Outpatient

Outpatient services are less intensive than IOP services and are designed to help the client achieve permanent changes in his or her alcohol- and drug-using behavior and mental functioning.   Outpatient services address major lifestyle, attitudinal, and behavioral issues that have the potential to undermine the goals of treatment or inhibit the client’s ability to cope with major life tasks without the non-medical use of alcohol or other drugs.

During the outpatient program clients participate in the following activities:

  • Group Therapy
  • Individual Counseling
  • Life Skills workshops
  • Video and lectures specific to substance abuse
  • Relapse prevention workshops

Co-Occurring Disorder

If you’re struggling with both a substance abuse problem and one or more mental health issues (i.e., depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder), our co-occurring disorder program can help.

We understand that many of the individuals seeking treatment for a substance use disorder will also have a mental health disorder.  We accept co-occurring disorders as the norm rather than the exception.

The co-occurring disorder program at ICC utilizes an integrative approach to helping individuals with co-occurring disorders.  We’ll work with you to address the entire picture with an individualized plan created just for you.

DUI School

On a weekly basis ICC provides comprehensive educational courses for persons convicted of driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated, minors in possession of alcohol, etc. This course educates students about alcohol & other drugs, abuse & addiction, and adverse physiological, psychological, & familial effects. Each student receives an alcohol & drug assessment; the results of which are reviewed individually with an A&D professional. If appropriate, referrals are made to address substance abuse problems, mental health issues, and emotional concerns.  ICC utilizes the State approved Prime for Life Program for its DUI curriculum.

Out-of-State Evaluations: Today, a person convicted of a D.U.I. or similar crime in another state is required to complete an alcohol & drug assessment. Our experienced staff is equipped to conduct these evaluations and work with clients to meet the necessary requirements for driver’s license renewal.

ICC offers classes to accommodate most employment schedules: One 12-hour accelerated class is offered on a weekly basis.

Anyone may take the course: DUI offenders, underage offenders, etc. Also, many parents enroll their teenagers to give them an understanding about the hazards of drinking and driving.

Fees: DUI School with Certificate of Completion:  $ 80 Out-of-state DUI:  Contact our office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday for out-of-state cost. Certificate replacement: $25
